How It Works

The Rules

Listing is free. Ranking is paid. Nobody owns a spot forever.

01

Listing is free

Anyone can submit a website or app to justbidder at no cost. A free listing appears on the leaderboard immediately and is visible to everyone, regardless of category.

02

Ranking is paid

The leaderboard is ordered by total amount bid, highest first. To move up, place a bid starting at $5. There is no cap on how much you can bid, and no limit on how many times you can bid on your own listing or someone else’s.

03

The All-time / Today toggle

Today ranks listings by bids placed since midnight UTC. It resets every day at 00:00 UTC, so the top spots are never permanently owned by one listing.

All-time ranks listings by total bids ever placed. This board does not reset.

04

Claiming the top spot

The top-ranked listing (by whichever view, Today or All-time, is currently selected) appears in the leading position on the page. Claiming that spot means placing a higher bid than whoever currently holds it.

05

Categories

Every listing belongs to one category, chosen at submission. Category filters affect what you see on the board, but do not affect ranking. Bids compete against the whole site, not just others in the same category.

06

Editing your listing

You can edit your listing’s name, URL, tagline, and description at any time using the edit link generated when you submitted it. We do not require an account or password, so keep that link safe. It’s the only way to prove a listing is yours.

07

Prohibited content

We remove listings that:

  • Link to illegal content, malware, or phishing pages
  • Impersonate another product, brand, or person without authorisation
  • Contain sexually explicit, hateful, or violent material
  • Are not a genuine website or app (spam, placeholder pages, empty domains)

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these rules, at our discretion, without refunding bids already placed on it.

08

Fair play

Bids are a genuine payment to rank higher, not a raffle, an auction with a winner payout, or an investment. There is no mechanism by which bidding returns money to you beyond the ranking itself. Using bots, fake payment methods, or chargebacks to manipulate rank will result in the listing being removed.

09

Payments are final

Bids are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law. See Terms for full payment terms.

10

Changes to these rules

We may update these rules as the product evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of justbidder after changes means you accept the updated rules.
